ABOUT AXE OF KINDNESSThe mission of Bars & Recreation, Inc. is to facilitate connection, camaraderie & community by bringing people together to play. Whether you and your team are an intersectional organization fighting for the rights of marginalized communities, or a team hit hard by difficult economic times, we want to offer you the chance to let loose for a couple hours and come out to play.
The Bars & Recreation Axe of Kindness program is offering complimentary axe throwing, deck shuffleboard, karaoke or trivia events for up to 40 people (based on capacity restrictions in place at the time) from groups in our community in need of a little time for team building & socialization. Nominations will be collected on a rolling basis and selected organizations will be notified to schedule an event. Here’s what WE do:

Grab your flannel, order a drink & get ready to throw some axes. Our trained Axe Masters will give you tips & tricks on how to land a bullseye. It’s safe, fun, and as competitive as you want it to be.

At NorthSouth Club, guests get to enjoy the Northern tundra of pines, beer & axe throwing as well as the Southern shores of palm trees, umbrella drinks & deck shuffleboard. Axe Masters and Shuffle Pros teach you the ins & outs of your designated activity.

Let your imagination run wild as you build your own mini golf course 9 feet underground. Once you’ve set up your course, you’ll play through all nine custom greens in your round. As the world’s only Build-Your-Own Mini Golf bar, you need to see it to believe it.

For over ten years, Splash Studio’s artist-led painting experience has been Milwaukee’s favorite creative outlet. Splash Studio artists are ready to meet you where you’re at, both in terms of painting experience & physical location.

Head Space Trivia allows your group to host a battle of the brains with live trivia, hosted by your own personal “Headmaster.” We bring the excitement of pub trivia to wherever you are, virtually or in-person. Game types can vary amongst general & themed questions.
